Why, oh why, did I let myself get talked into Facebook apps?? Why? Wasn't my MySpace Super Poke Pet Enough??
Dude, I mean, FarmVille, okay, that was fine...it's cute, and I have it nicely decorated for the Christmas season. I need more gifts for my gift tree though...it's a bit barren. (Wow, I am SAD)
Then I got talked into FarmTown... "You don't have to PLAY it mom, I just need neighbors".
Right...now I have the biggest farm they offer, and have IT all decorated for Christmas. I was spending hours in the Marketplace begging for harvest jobs. I now have 2 million + farm dollars to save up for a mansion.
Then came Happy Aquarium...."It's so cute!! And you don't HAVE to play it...I just need neighbors"....right, although I did finally cut myself off from that one...
Then FishVille...by the makers of FarmVille, YoVille and other Villes. "You don't have to PLAY FishVille Mom..." Right. Up to level 19 there....
Turned down Happy Pets and PetVille (Of the famous Zynga Villes)...I just DO NOT have time. I haven't made any new graphics in WEEKS, because of all the apps. So, the pets...no. NO.
Then came CafeWorld...surprisingly NOT a Ville, although made by the same people....wasn't gonna. Told myself, I have no life as it is, I just play apps all damn night...wasn't gonna....sigh...
My roasted chicken will be done tomorrow night.
Posted by Lysa at December 10, 2009 11:31 PMHow about the Spore game for Facebook? I spent far too much time "evolving" my creature, just so he can out-compete my brother's creature.
I don't get the FarmVille stuff, to be honest. I've attempted to play some of those things, and it reminds me of the Sims - a bit of a treadmill. Naturally, this does not apply to my hours of playing TorchLight, because that is nothing like reality and is an escapist piece of fluff. :-)
