I sorta forgot to mention we got a second horse. Cool story...Carrie Jean was more or less dumped at TLC, and her owner had rather stopped paying his bill or doing anything to take care of her. She and her pasture mates, two other mares, were losing weight and looking horrible. The other two died, but after Tish finally took matters into her own hands and called the vet, Carrie Jean was able to be saved, and then was adopted to us. We share her with another lady at TLC, but Marcella really gets to train with Carrie Jean. This horse almost died, sat in pasture for years, and was a race horse in her former life.
